  • The Chenab Bridge is an Indian railway steel and concrete arch bridge under construction between Bakkal and Kauri in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
  • The world’s highest rail bridge over the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir is in the last stages of construction.
  • The rail line is expected to be 35 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
  • Once completed, it will surpass the record of the Beipan river Shuibai railway bridge (275 m) in China.
  • It will be 359 metres above the Chenab river bed.
  • The overall length of the bridge is 1,315 metres.
