- Andhra Pradesh government has launched ‘YSR Vahana Mitra scheme’.
- under this scheme the government will provide a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per annum to owner-driver of an auto-rickshaw, or taxicab.
- This assistance aims to meet their insurance premium, licence fee and other recurring expenses.
